The same AI can output garbage or a masterpiece — the difference is the prompt. Prompt engineering is the core skill of an AI creator, because the model is the same for everyone, but the ability to ask is not.
The prompt formula
A strong request is built from five blocks: role (who the AI should be), task (what to do), context (for whom and why), format (list, table) and tone (mood).
Teach by examples (few-shot)
Sometimes showing beats explaining. Give 2–3 examples of «how it should be» and the model will copy your style better than any instruction.
Set constraints
Say what you do NOT want: «no fluff», «no longer than 50 words», «no complex terms». Boundaries make the result predictable.
Build a library
Save successful prompts to a note. Over time you'll have a personal set of templates that works faster than any beginner.
